A Little Taste of Summer

Today I had my short little procedure at the hospital. It went well! After the procedure I came home and rested for about 2 1/2 hrs. on the couch. Ahhhh! So nice! I knew I needed to go buy some trash bags, razors, etc. and I had some coupons. I went to Kroger and bought two of these:

Kroger had them for BOGO and I had a $3.00 off two packages coupon. So I got 16 razors for $3.98. WooHoo! I then went to Walgreens hoping to get a deal, but they were out of the toothpaste I wanted. After visiting multiple Walgreens locations, I went to pick up Drew early. I had purchased some water balloons at one of my many Walgreens visits and decided to let Drew play in the backyard. So much fun!

Tonight is Girls' Night Out with the ladies in my lifegroup and we are having a Pampered Chef party! Yay! Unfortunately I bought a new transmission recently so I won't be making a contribution to the Pampered Chef company this evening. It will just be fun to get together with the girls!

After today I am really craving summer vacation. Only 13 days of school left. Yay!

Life Lately

The last few months have been crazy busy! We've made it through baseball season. The Wolves finished first in their conference. We went into the post season and unfortunately lost this past Saturday to the home team, Marion. After taking it all last year, the boys were less than disappointed. Drew has started T-ball. He talks like he is all into it, but really enjoys playing in the dirt just as much as anything else. As of today we have 14 days left of school. Woohoo!

Since this is my blog I get to be personal, right? That being said, here goes! We've been trying to get pregnant since last July, but have been unsuccessful. I've been through 3 months of Clomid and tomorrow will have a procedure called an HSG. The procedure will see if there is any blockage which could be preventing me from getting pregnant. I'm hoping this will help move things along. So say a little prayer that all goes well!

On top of all of this the transmission in my van went out. Boo! Adios vacation :( Oh well. life goes on right?
